David Beckham Exercise - How to Pass and Move Tube. Duration : 2.23 Mins.

David Beckham is an amazing player. He's more then just good looks, he's got soccer skills and lots of smarts! Today we are learning one of many passing drills for soccer on how to pass and move. This video is geared towards players 8 and under and their coaches. Different variations of this exercise can be done to increase the level of difficulty for older players. I call this the Beckham exercise because it's an exercise I learned from watching David Beckham teach it on Fox Soccer Channel many years ago. Description: In a game when we make a pass what should we do? Move! Pass and Move! Equipment Needed: A ball and four cones. Exercise Player Can Do: Set up a start where the player will stand. Directly in front about 5-7 yards away will be a second cone and this is where the coach will stand with the ball. Then place two cones as a small goal for the player to run through about 5 yards to the side and in the middle of the two cones. The coach passes the ball to the player. The player traps it, passes it back and then sprints through the cones. Jog back and repeat 5 times. Then switch sides. The idea is to pass and move! I will need you to be my coach! What Player Could Be Doing Wrong: If a player isn't moving after they pass then tell them to move. I like to have players shout at me, "when I say pass... you say move. Pass... Move... Pass... Move!"Create your free profile, record your soccer game reviews, track your soccer juggling records and watch more OSA soccer ...
